The inspiration for this poster is pretty personal. After being joined at the hip with the lovely Krista for roughly 7 years, I finally got round to begging proposing.
The poster is one of a few mocks I did for a gig in my hometown, Canberra. The layers, patterns and progression of electronic music was a big inspiration. A little interstellar, a little saturated.
I heard this saying in a lecture from a Buddhist nun. If you can do it, I think embracing problems as though they’re a treat is a great way to approach work and life, especially in the field of design.
This is another personal poster designed through a particularly tough bout of homesickness whilst working in Japan. I think it would make an awesome book cover. In the end, I felt better concluding that a full life is full of experiences, good and bad.
